Some Mark Isham in lossless format was requested by my friend ICE. Here you are, my dear!More jazz-oriented music is featured on this ensemble recording including Isham's muted trumpet over a dense and percussive backdrop from longtime Isham sidemen David Torn, Peter Maunu and Patrick O'Hearn, plus Paul McCandless, Terry Bozzio, and Mick Karn. The sweeping strings and classical guitar on "My Wife with Champagne Shoulders" and the evocative "A Dream of Three Acrobats" are highlights. Scott Bultman
Castalia (1988) is an album by the American trumpeter/synthesist Mark Isham. The title refers to the mythical spring Castalia on Mount Parnassus in Greece. This album features a larger ensemble of musicians than Isham's previous albums. Artists who performed on this album include guitarists David Torn and Peter Maunu, bassist Patrick O'Hearn, drummer Terry Bozzio and vocalist Gayle Moran. O'Hearn, Bozzio and Maunu were all in Isham's early band Group 87. Torn's atmospheric guitar work and O'Hearn's bass playing make a major contribution to the unique style of this album. Most of the pieces are in a long format, often beginning with subtle ambient textures and bursting into more active compositions. The song "In the Warmth of Your Night" is only available on CD. The album's cover artwork features illustrations of the Lissajous apparatus. wikipedia

My dear Scoredaddy thanks to you I can reach again this wonderful album which I must say is one of my most favorites of all kinds of music.I had it once in a vinyl but I lost it while I was moved to a new place and all my searches to re-find it went for nothing. Your generous offer means a lot to me. My deep and heartfelt thanks for this precious present.
